About Brian
Brian Sequoia
Drawing inspiration from towering redwoods, Buddhist philosophy and life’s quiet moments, Brian's songs blend poetic introspection with warm, intricate guitar work. A seasoned performer, Brian has captivated audiences in intimate venues, festivals and house concerts, creating a space for reflection and connection.

Brian has been writing songs since he was fifteen years old. After a 30 year career in Silicon Valley and being a CEO and Author and raising three kids, he sold his company in 2018 and decided to devote his life to music and saving the trees. He earned a songwriting certificate from the Berklee college of music and has released dozens of songs. One of his Berklee professors said, "Brian's music echoes a combination of Bob Dylan’s lyrics and John Denver’s voice, yet it carries a style uniquely his own."

When he’s not writing or performing, he can be found traveling the world, exploring trails on his e-bike, tending to his garden and orchard, or discussing philosophy over a cup of tea. He believes music is more than just sound—a song can change people’s thoughts and feelings, which changes their actions and the actions of those around them. And ultimately changes the world.
Brian's mission is to bring massive joy and positive change to the world through music. His personal goal is to write and release 100 songs that change the world and to plant 1 million giant trees.
Brian’s releases a new original song every month, so be sure to signup for his newsletter to be the first to hear them!
